I have seen a lot of FCA and SIL reports, and this would have to be one of the best written assessments I have ever seen. I was a bit unsure initially due to it being telehealth only but so far, I have been impressed (and I’m not impressed easily). Thank you for making this such an easy process.

Senior OTs Who Specialise in Report Writing
We focus on NDIS assessment reporting, not therapy with the occasional report on the side. Our senior OTs have completed over 1,000 reports between them and understand exactly how to gather and present the evidence the NDIA expects. Every report is peer-reviewed by another senior OT before delivery.
10–14 Day Turnaround Without Compromising Quality
We allocate your OT within 48 hours, book your video call assessment within 1-2 weeks (sooner for urgent cases) and deliver your comprehensive report in 10-14 business days. No vague timelines, just clear expectations and consistency.
NDIA-Compliant Assessments, Flexible Delivery
Our senior OTs deliver evidence-based SIL assessments reflecting current NDIA requirements and expectations. We offer the convenience of telehealth Australia-wide or in-person home visits in selected locations, with family and support workers welcome to participate.
AccessPath Process Keeps Everything On Track

Common Questions About Video Call SIL Assessments
FAQs
We know SIL assessments are complex and high-stakes. Here are the questions support coordinators and families ask us most about how video call SIL assessments work and what the NDIA accepts.
What types of assessments do you offer?
We provide:
- Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) reports
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments
- Individualised Living Options (ILO) reports
All reports are NDIA-compliant and delivered via our secure telehealth platform.
How long does the video call take?
Typically up to 2 hours, depending on complexity.
What do I need?
Just a device with internet (a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet) and a quiet space. We’ll send you a secure video link, and there’s no download needed.Â
How quickly can we book?
Usually within 1-2 weeks from referral. We prioritise urgent cases with tight deadlines.
Report turnaround?
10-14 business days from assessment to delivery.
Can family or support coordinators join the call?
Absolutely. We encourage it.
Does the NDIA accept video call SIL assessments?
Yes. The NDIA fully accepts SIL assessments conducted via video call. These are evidence-based evaluations relying on structured interviews, validated tools, clinical documentation, and information from existing support networks, not hands-on physical assessment. Our senior OTs have completed hundreds of SIL reports via video call with consistently successful funding outcomes.
How is a SIL assessment different from an FCA?
A SIL assessment goes beyond a standard FCA. While an FCA looks broadly at a person’s functional capacity across daily activities, a SIL assessment specifically focuses on whether 24/7 support is required, why it is necessary, and what level of staffing is appropriate.
Do you offer in-person assessments?
Yes. In-person assessments are available in selected areas across Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. Telehealth is available Australia-wide.
Can assessments be completed by telehealth?
Yes. Many Functional Capacity and Home & Living assessments can be completed effectively by telehealth, depending on the participant’s circumstances and assessment needs. Our senior OTs use the appropriate mix of interviews, supporting evidence, assessment tools and clinical reasoning to build a clear picture of the participant’s functional needs. In-person assessments are also available in selected areas across VIC, QLD and SA.
Do you support participants in regional or rural areas?
Yes. We support participants Australia-wide, including regional and remote areas. Telehealth is available nationally, with in-person assessments also available in selected areas across VIC, QLD and SA.
